Invitation to invest · Round open

Put your capital where the fish are.

We're raising growth capital to expand a working, revenue-generating aquaculture farm in Ogbomoso, Oyo State — one that posts its operating day publicly, so investors can diligence us before they ever sign a term sheet.

The opportunity

The protein gap isn't closing. It's widening.

Nigeria consumes roughly 3.6 million tonnes of fish per year, against a domestic production of just over 1 million tonnes. The delta is filled by imports that cost the economy over $1 billion annually in foreign exchange.

Meanwhile the population is growing, disposable incomes are rising, and every currency devaluation makes frozen imports more expensive. The structural case for domestic aquaculture has never been clearer — and catfish and tilapia are the species that move at scale.

Why this farm

Diligence a farm that diligences itself.

Nigerian aquaculture has plenty of capital-seekers. Very few of them can show you a timestamped public record of the work. We can.

Operating, not a concept

Ponds stocked, products in catalog, activity posted daily. We're not asking you to fund an idea — we're asking you to scale a working farm.

Transparency by default

Every feeding, sorting and harvest is logged on our public Farm Pulse. Staff IDs are verifiable via this site. No opaque middle layer.

The right geography

Ogbomoso sits on a reliable groundwater table, on the Lagos–Ibadan–Ilorin axis, with a growing local aquaculture workforce and input supply.

The right species mix

Catfish carries ~60% of Nigerian farmed-fish volume for a reason. Tilapia and Heteroclarias hybrids round out cycle risk.

Founder-led, phone-answered

Taiwo (MD) publishes his personal mobile and answers it. No investor-relations theatre.

Investor-grade reporting

We commit to quarterly written updates and independent cycle audits once the round closes.

Use of funds

Indicative allocation of a ₦50M round.

Capital is sized to unlock three things at once: more ponds in the ground, less exposure to feed price swings, and more value retained on-site through a small processing line. Exact splits are refined per ticket and deployment calendar.

Revenue already exists today. The round accelerates expansion and margin, it does not bootstrap operations.

  • Pond expansion 35%

New concrete ponds engineered for biosecurity and clean drainage.

  • Feed & working capital 30%

Bulk-feed buying to insulate cycle economics from Naira moves.

  • Hatchery & broodstock 15%

In-house fingerling production to lower unit cost and protect genetics.

  • Processing & cold chain 10%

Smoking line and freezers to capture value beyond live sales.

  • Tech, audit & compliance 10%

Extending the public journal, food-safety certification, independent audit.

Risks we flag up-front

Fish farming isn't a free ride. Here's what can bite.

  • Feed price volatility. Inputs are dollarised; feed is the largest recurring cost.
  • Disease & water quality. We mitigate with stocking density discipline, biosecurity and daily water checks.
  • FX & macro. Naira volatility affects input costs faster than selling prices adjust.
  • Demand shocks. Cycle timing matters. We phase stocking across ponds to smooth supply.
  • Power & logistics. Grid and fuel volatility affect aeration and movement. Mitigated by species choice (catfish is hardy) and same-day dispatch.
  • Execution risk. Capital deploys over 18–24 months; we commit to staged releases against milestones and quarterly written updates.
